Division Engineering Expense Portfolio Lead

Role Purpose

The Expense Portfolio Lead is responsible for day to day management of the Engineering Expense Portfolio process and content. This includes ensuring the accuracy and timely updating of the portfolio of expense projects for overall Fusion Tech & Engineering, aligned to tech strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• • Expense Portfolio Process and Tool Management
  • Expense Portfolio Planning & Forecasts
  • Monthly spending review and reporting with Eng Group Directors
  • Quarterly meetings on expense project with leadership
  • Expense spending forecasting
  • Tech strategy roadmap and prioritization of D&E projects

Key Decision Areas and People Responsibilities

• Recommendations and proposals regarding appropriate spending levels across the portfolio to communicate with leadership
• Effective ways to upgrade the portfolio decisions processes and tools for project managers
• Good communication skills at all levels, this person will interact on a frequent basis with our finance analysts and leaders, division engineering staff and project managers
• This role will report to Division Engineering Capital/Expense Portfolios manager
• Financial tracking to forecast
• Forecast accuracy

Experiences/Education - Required

• Undergraduate degree in engineering preferred. Master in Business Administration (MBA) a plus
• Demonstrated comfort with technology
• Financially savvy, ability to work with cost analysis
• Cost modeling skills highly preferred
• Project management experience and demonstrated skills
• People Management skills, ability to grow in responsibility
