Facility Shift Technician

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Execute operating plan to achieve team objectives.
• Conduct day to day patrol and standard operating setpoint/base case compliance with procedures.
• To be emergency response member to react Facility emergency response in case of system failure
• Build effective relations with plant support groups.
• Implements and documents material, process and/or equipment changes(Follow Process Control and Process Discipline).
• Executes documented operating procedures and follows established document control protocols.
• Executes the protection of Corning’s Intellectual Asset Property (IAP).
• Implement training and certification plans.
• Implement preventive Maintenance/predictive maintenance activities to achieve Facility maintenance performance.
• Initiate improvement case by plant side activity
   

Required Skills

• SCADA system operating
• Knowledge of all facility normal operation system (SOP, SOS etc.)
• Knowledge of emergency and abnormal conductions 
• Knowledge and understanding of the major plant systems, and major components’ functions.( compress dryer air, Chilling, Boiler, HVAC…etc.)
• Knowledgeable of Safety, Health, and Environment core responsibilities
• Good computer skills
