Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Material handle / Tracking
  • Tools Maintenance
  • Progress Report
  • Communication
  • Metal Security
  • Follow SOP / Drawings to build Glass making equipment.
  • Works with Melting / FDM Engineers to ensure proper equipment are built.
  • Schedule, budget, quality, and safety control during shop assembly /installation and startup support.
  • Traveling to support other plants including overseas when necessary.

Qualifications：

  • At least 2 years’ experience in related jobs.

Education, Experience & Required Skills

  • College degree and Mechanical Engineering background or other related
  • Understand Construction Drawings (Auto CAD)
  • Positive attitude
  • English ability
  • Familiar with TIG / Torch Welding .
  • Need Security Background Check

  • Good parts management and maintenance skill
  • Creative and with strong continuous improvement work characteristic
  • Good communication, coordination, and follow-up ability
  • Work independently by him/herself and also work well within team group
