Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Lay out Production scheduling and strategy with optimizing manufacturing to fulfill customer demand.
  • Collaborate with multiple functions in plant and division to optimize production scheduling.
  • Co-work on packing material recycling.
  • Work as a liaison between Commercial and Plant to efficiently meet customer demand on daily basis.
  • Track compliance to schedule, understand the reason of non-compliance to schedule and define opportunities and improve scheduling reliability.
  • Executable production plans/schedules verification.
  • Support engineering and maintenance on production scheduling.
  • Continuous improvement on scheduling tool/process and process documentations & standardizations.
  • Corporate with other planning team to optimize global glass product sourcing.
  • Work with cross functions for glass product quality management.
  • Planning Talent development

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor+ degree, major in Supply Chain Management, Engineering a related field. 
  • 10+ years’ experience in project management, capacity manage or manufacturing strategy.

  • Organization: Excellent organizational skills to manage resources, documents, and schedules efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Adaptability: The flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements, scope, and priorities.
  • Problem Solving: The capability to identify potential risks and issues, develop solutions, and make sound decisions to keep progress on track.
  • Fluent English in oral and written.
     

Desired Skills

  • Project Management 
  • Familiar with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI
  • SAP experience is a plus.
