Role Purpose
Primary owner of the commercial relationship with key Environmental Technologies customers within the growth applications space of Stationary, Aftermarket, and Retrofit. Accountable for developing and executing account strategies to retain, grow, and strengthen Corning’s position with these customers. Serve as the central point of coordination between the customer and Corning’s commercial, technical, and operational teams
Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage all commercial aspects of the customer relationship
• Ensure flawless execution and continuity of current business in line with Corning commitments and customer expectations; proactively identify opportunities to exceed expectations
• Develop and execute short- and long-term account plans to identify growth opportunities, expand share, and increase profitability
• Lead customer pricing activities, quotations, and commercial proposals in alignment with product, technology, and pricing strategies
• Negotiate commercial terms and agreements, including long-term supply agreements
• Act as the primary interface between the customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product engineering, technology, quality, and supply chain) to support customer needs
• Support and align regional sales and account resources engaged with the customer; provide guidance and mentoring as needed
• Manage customer requests related to product information, specifications, and technical support in collaboration with technical teams
• Facilitate resolution of product quality or performance issues, coordinating internal responses and communicating outcomes to the customer
• Represent the customer’s needs and priorities within internal product, process, technology, and quality initiatives
• Lead or participate in internal and external projects that support account growth and customer satisfaction
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer decision-makers and influencers to position Corning as a strategic partner
• Coordinate closely with Regional Technology and Operations leadership to ensure alignment and execution
• Operate effectively within CET business processes, tools, and governance structures
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
Experiences/Education - Required
Required Education
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
Required Experience
• 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or commercial roles
• Prior experience managing customer relationships in a technical or manufacturing environment preferred

• Persistence and follow-through to ensure customer needs and business objectives are achieved
Travel Requirements
• Up to 25% domestic travel
• Occasional international travel as required
Experiences/Education - Desired
• Understanding of Environmental Technologies markets and global business structure
• Experience working across regions, cultures, and functions
• Established internal network within Corning
• Ability to develop account strategies and successfully negotiate to achieve growth objectives
• General knowledge of engine and emission control technologies, particularly in off-road and stationary applications
• Understanding of supply chain operations and their value contribution
• Awareness of competitive landscape and alternative technologies
• Ability to interpret product specifications, drawings, and approval processes
• Familiarity with Substrate and Diesel Particulate Filter products or ability to learn quickly
• Experience with PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to support decision-making

The range for this position is $116,236.00 - $159,825.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
