Role Purpose
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the DVP, Director of Gorilla Glass Solutions, and their staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Calendar Management: Manage dynamic, global calendars for the Director and staff; assist with other department calendars as needed.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange international and domestic travel, including visas/passports, working closely with CIBT to ensure smooth document processing.
- Purchasing Support: Handle P-card transactions and e-Procurement purchase requisitions, including tracking and reporting.
- Communications: Draft and distribute organizational communications on behalf of the Director.
- Meeting Coordination: Create agendas and manage calendars for weekly staff and department meetings; facilitate meetings when needed.
- Logistical Support: Provide logistical support for commercial meetings, annual events (e.g., CES), and trade shows as required.
- Space Planning Coordination: Collaborate with the Space Planning team and BTD as needed.
- Employee Onboarding and Visitor Logistics: Work closely with HR to onboard new employees and contractors; assist with logistics and tours for customer visits.
Experiences/Education - Required
- 2–3 years of experience as an administrative aide supporting Director-level leadership.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Experience coordinating international travel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Concur expense report processing/approvals.
- Experience with PeopleSoft e-Procurement and phone/video conferencing systems.
- Flexible, courteous, and a team player.
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Prior experience with Corning Incorporated.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting Science & Technology teams.
- Consistent and reliable performance.
- Working knowledge of Teams, Concur, and SharePoint (internal Corning systems).
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities proactively.

The range for this position is $62,786.00 - $86,332.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
