Role Purpose

The Analytics and Modeling Lead develops market models and insights that guide strategic planning, business decisions, and long-term growth.

The role integrates external intelligence with commercial, operational, technical, and financial data to evaluate market trends, opportunities, and risks and deliver actionable recommendations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain models for market size, demand, capacity, growth, share, technology adoption, competitive position, value chains, and costs.
  • Build market outlooks, scenarios, and sensitivity analyses using internal data and external intelligence.
  • Monitor market, customer, competitor, economic, regulatory, supply-chain, and technology trends.
  • Translate findings into recommendations for strategy, planning, investments, business cases, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner across functions and with subject-matter experts to validate assumptions, align scenarios, and challenge conclusions.
  • Maintain transparent, auditable models and present results, assumptions, risks, and business implications to stakeholders and executives.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, statistics, data analytics, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytical modeling, market or competitive intelligence, strategy, forecasting, finance, supply-chain or commercial analytics, consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience integrating quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources and building structured, transparent, well-documented models.
  • Ability to interpret complex data, test assumptions, identify patterns, and draw defensible conclusions.
  • Strong business acumen across markets, customers, competitors, technology, operations, and financial performance.

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including evaluating uncertainty and communicating risks and limitations.
  • Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and influence stakeholders in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Experience with market, demand, capacity, cost, or scenario models in a manufacturing, industrial, technology, advanced materials, or B2B environment.

The range for this position is $95,313.00 - $131,056.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
