The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.




Reporting to the Law IT Service Owner, the CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) Technical Lead is a senior technology leader that will function as designer for CLM technologies.


This person will function as an enabler within IT Architecture working with other stakeholders to enhance the business value and user experience derived from Contract Lifecycle Management at Corning.



  • Responsibility will include leading strategy and design efforts to enhance and maintain Corning’s CLM solution and roadmap and supporting the delivery of several complex people, process and technology related activities associated to the roadmap including migration projects in 2023 and beyond.
  • As a core member of the project team, this role will require strong communication to bridge between various IT and Non IT teams including: Infrastructure, Applications, IT User Experience and Business engagement, along with functional teams, while navigating navigate within a background of relative ambiguity.
  • Maintain and enhance the CLM roadmap with partnership from various stakeholder groups within the company
  • Assist with defining, shaping and being a leader on CLM projects and business demand
  • Partners with CLM Center Of Excellence to help with the creation of standards, policies & guidelines for the platform in collaboration with service line owner and technology teams
  • Supports IT project start up though technical consultation (conceptual architecture’s), charter definition, benefit and analysis, requirements gathering and formal PMO approval.
  • Helps promote and communicate a clear and consistent vision/strategy throughout the organization – working with multiple stakeholders to achieve project success
  • Builds relationships that foster collaboration and partnerships to drive better strategies, priorities, and service to the customer
  • Mentors team members to enhance technology and operational delivery skills



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree
  • 3- 5 years of experience in system administration role for a large and/or complex multi-Business unit organization with a focus on Enterprise collaboration tools (workflow, document storage, integrations with other applications)
  • Managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting services and cloud infrastructure



  • Able to understand and explain SAAS licensing models related to CLM
  • Strong skills and experience with CLM and supporting technologies including: CRM, E-signature, analytics and reporting, obligation management
  • Proven ability to think and operate proficiently within industry standard architecture frameworks
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to tailor communications styles and patterns depending on the audience
  • Team player with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization
  • Able to change and adjust smoothly as the situation demands
  • Ability to lead international teams across multiple initiatives that span various lines of business, geographic borders, time zones, and cultures while blending different goals and requirements for different groups



  • 3 years of experience developing technology architectures and roadmaps for Global Enterprise environments
  • Experience with ID Access Manager technologies like NetIQ, Okta etc. And user lifecycle concepts, provisioning, deprovisioning, entitlements
  • Experience communicating the differences of collaboration data and personal data and understanding requirements of each
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Mobile Device Management (MDM) concepts and tools
  • Experience with file migration technologies, CLM systems or similar technologies



  • Up to 25% that will include both domestic and international travel
