Role Purpose
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a key member of CET North America customer service team with primary liaison between customer and manufacturing for assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate order management process for assigned accounts including order entry, customer correspondence both internal and external, transportation coordination, and payment resolution as needed.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships both internal and external.
- Work across commercial and manufacturing including planning and shipping to ensure customer requirements are achieved
- Identify and act on supply issues to minimize the impact to the customer.
- Monitor and communicate key customer service metrics
- Additional customer service-related projects as assigned
Experiences/Education - Required
- Customer service and/or logistics experience in a similar environment
- Strong organizational and process skills including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers (internal and/or external)
- Ability to negotiate and resolve issues across multiple functions
- Effective problem solver and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay calm in the face of adversity
- Previous experience with PeopleSoft Supply Chain, SAP or a comparable system
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Knowledge of Corning Environmental Technologies substrate business
- Experience working with other cultures
- Manufacturing and/or commercial experience
- Proficiency with computer programs- Excel and Word
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- 3 Years’ experience
Travel Requirements:
- Limited travel may be required, typically not exceeding 5% of work time.
Hours of work/work schedule/flextime:
- M-F: 8-5pm

The range for this position is $40,147.00 - $55,203.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
