Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Role Purpose:
Provide executive administrative support to senior executives and other key leaders in an organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of calendar for business needs.
- Manage complex travel arrangements (both domestic and international) and proactively stay ahead of changes, including but not limited to management of all travel documents, schedules, and corporate aircraft arrangements.
- Interface directly with other senior leaders and their executive assistants in the execution of administrative tasks.
- Manage all meeting logistics inclusive of meeting room space, materials, technical equipment, catering, and other supplies as needed.
- Handle items that are highly confidential and critical in nature.
- Collaborate with global teams as needed.
- Provide administrative support, in collaboration with SLTA, during key global meetings and as otherwise directed.
Required Capabilities:
- Cross-cultural, cross-regional communication skills: English proficiency, ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all levels of the corporation, across geographies
- Professionalism: highly responsive, reliable, and mature; able to deliver error-free execution on timely basis, exercise highest level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality
- Strong organizational and administrative skills: attention to details; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills: ability to think thoroughly and strategically, anticipating corporate officer’s needs; strong decision making/problem solving skills dealing with ad-hoc issues
- Cultural fit: Highly motivated self-starter, collaborative team-player, fast learner
Required Education:
- Associates Degree or above.
Nice-to-have capabilities/experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Executive Assistant Roles in multinational companies.
Travel:
- Occasional domestic and international travel required
This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
The range for this position is $76,777.00 - $105,569.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
