The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace.
HR provides service offerings that align solutions to business challenges by ensuring the programs are Effective, Efficient, Global, Scaleable, and Repeatable. Role Purpose
Corning is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to oversee and enhance our equity and executive compensation programs. This role is pivotal in driving strategic alignment between compensation practices and Corning’s business goals, ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Lead the administration and strategic oversight of equity compensation programs, including shareholder approval, shares tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Partner with vendors to ensure smooth program execution, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong working relationships.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure equity programs comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC regulations, and country-specific laws across global markets.
- Serve as the primary contact for audits and governance processes, preparing accurate documentation and ensuring program integrity.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR leadership, HRBPs, finance, and legal teams to align equity programs with overall business strategies.
- Develop and deliver engaging communications to educate employees about equity offerings.
Compensation team support, Market Research and Analytics:
- Provide support to the broader compensation team and executive resources team regarding offers, retention proposals and communications
- Provide compensation and executive compensation program support beyond equity programs as needed
- Conduct internal and external benchmarking studies
- Analyze industry trends to ensure Corning’s equity (or other, as needed) programs remain competitive.
- Leverage data analytics to evaluate program effectiveness and generate actionable insights for executive decision-making.
Data Steward and Executive Support
- Serve as the data steward for all executive positions globally.
- Serve as the first level support for executives with questions regarding data, program, onboarding and offboarding and other areas as needed.
- Responsible for director compensation program administration and communications.
- Lead executive compensation processes and year-end activities, such as FICA releases, Settlement Statements, Executive Booklet support, executive PIP, Share Ownership monitoring, and other areas as needed.
- Serve as the primary liaison with payroll and corporate control regarding executive payments
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in equity compensation or related areas.
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of equity administration platforms (e.g., Shareworks, UBS and Workday).

The range for this position is $87,443.00 - $120,235.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
