Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and optimizing the operation of our facility's critical systems, including boilers, chillers, and air compressors. The successful candidate will ensure these systems operate efficiently, safely, and meet all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on boilers, chillers, air compressors, and other facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Define process checks and implement process control / process discipline on infrastructure systems.
- Create, audit, and revise process documentation and procedures for facility equipment.
- Utilize building automation system (BMS) and computerized Maintenance management system (Maximo) to ensure efficient operation of the facilities.
- Provide occasional after-hours technical support for on-call or weekend coverage.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Technical AAS degree, certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years experience as a Facilities Operations Technician or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly boilers, chillers, and air compressors.
- Working knowledge of MS Office skills – Word, Excel, Power point
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Process Control and Discipline knowledge and application experience, SPC XL
- AutoCAD and Revit BIM experience
- Experience writing process documentation such as SOP’s, machine specs, O&M’s.

The range for this position is $69,691.00 - $95,826.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
