Purpose of the Position:

• Responsible for leading planning and forecasting processes for MCE Division.

• Understand business dynamics to deliver accurate forecast results and analytics.

• Oversees balance sheet and cash flow reporting and forecasting processes for the division.

• Support MCE business leadership with preparation and required analysis in completion of Performance Review, COR, BB and GB presentations as needed.

• Partner with business forecasting group to provide real-time analysis and insight on monthly performance to flag potential concerns on a timely basis

• Forecasting and analyzing OPEX, driving understanding of spend and gaining insight on key drivers.

• Implement continuous improvement programs to reduce workload and increase quality for all reporting requirements supported.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Manage division planning and forecasting processes, including Green Book, Black Book, Control Forecast, and monthly Actual. Drive continuous improvements of the processes.

• Lead the preparation of Monthly closing, Green Book and Black Book review processes.

• Provide analytical review of balance sheet data to support closing process including identifying issues and responding to management inquiries

• Primary interface with Corporate FP&A for forecast related inputs and ad-hoc analysis

• Interface with MCE businesses to highlight key issues driving financial performance.

• Provide analyses, evaluation, and recommendations to support all division financial measures.

• Individual must present strong leadership skills and be customer focused, results oriented, rigorous, process driven, and a team player.


Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Finance or equivalent degree.

• Experience leading a department in meeting continuous improvement goals.

• Can analyze and respond to inquiries regarding unexpected changes in financial results.

• Presents information/analysis with a balanced point of view, carefully explaining risks and critical assumptions.

• Interprets analyses by recognizing key trends across data sets and applies interpretations to develop insights into financial operations.

• Financial Systems

• Has working knowledge of financial systems used (i.e., PeopleSoft & Khalix)

• Has necessary level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and/or Project. Can identify implications of system changes on business processes and vice-versa.

• Performance Excellence

• Routinely identifies ways to minimize variation in finance systems and execute finance processes that work more effectively, more efficiently, faster, or at a lower cost.

• Promotes organizational effectiveness through innovations and improvements in business processes using defined processes and tools.
