Position Description:

This role is expected to deliver analysis and insight on key business and corporate financial focus areas. This individual is expected to operate independently and make recommendations to internal customers including senior finance leadership.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and strengthening processes/partnerships with all partners including Businesses, Tax, Treasury, Accounting Controls and Reporting team and Shared Services.
  • Assist Operational Controller, Director – Corporate FP&A, and Senior Finance Manager FP&A in analyses and reporting to senior management, Board of Directors and executive committees.
  • Supports projects and ad-hoc analysis requests related to P&L, gross margin analytics, balance sheet, and cash flow, including current issues facing the corporation (inflationary pressures, pricing strategy, and capital allocation)
  • Work in conjunction with other department members and finance function to provide data analytics and develop new approaches to complex analytic problems.
  • Analyze business results and forecast focusing on identifying risks and opportunities
  • Analysis of internal data, including strategic and operating plans, to quantify risks and impact of various scenarios on division/corporate measures
  • Drive working capital and key balance sheet accounts and engage in balance sheet planning to maximize ROIC, minimize working capital, drive improved metrics
  • Develop criteria for evaluating current processes for analysis, forecasting, budget, data collection, and other financial activities
  • Support strategic decision-making using financial analysis
  • Interface with Corporate and Business Finance leadership businesses to highlight key issues driving financial performance.
  • Flex resource for preparation and required analysis in completion of Senior Management Reporting as well as Forecasting and Budgeting presentation requirements.
  • Implement continuous improvement programs to reduce workload and increase quality with focus on balance sheet and cash flow.

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years’ work experience in a discipline that involves analysis, or 3+ years’ and a Master’s degree
  • Financial analytical skills

 

Desired:

  • CPA
  • MBA
