Scope of Position:
The FRP Experienced Track is a two – three-year program designed to develop future finance leaders. It provides hands-on experience through one-year rotational assignments across manufacturing, division, and corporate finance functions (Experienced hiring will have customized rotation assignments based on prior experience.) Participants will gain exposure to critical areas of finance while contributing to Corning’s transformation journey.
This program is geared toward individuals with an aptitude for digital tools and innovation, a desire to work in a collaborative environment, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving landscape. By participating in the FRP, you’ll make an impact on Corning’s Finance function while building the skills needed to thrive in the digital age.

General Requirements:
- 2-3-year commitment to the rotational program.
- Willingness to relocate within the U.S. for annual rotations.
- Strong interest in working within a digitally-enabled finance organization
Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.
- Certifications like CPA, CMA, CFA, or relevant digital certifications (e.g., SAP, Power BI, data analytics tools) are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in external audit, financial accounting, or financial experience in a manufacturing environment
- Big 4/Investment Banking Experience – a plus
- Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt certification – a plus
Desired Technical and Digital Skills:
- Digital Mindset: A natural curiosity for learning and leveraging new technologies in finance.
- ERP Systems: Experience with or interest in SAP, PeopleSoft, or similar systems.
- Analytics Tools: Familiarity with or interest in tools like Power BI, OneStream, SQL, Python, Databricks, or VBA/macros.
- Data Visualization: Ability to design and interpret dashboards and reports.
- Process Optimization: Experience or interest in leveraging automation tools (e.g., RPA) and driving process improvements.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is a plus.

The range for this position is $67,342.00 - $92,595.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
