Role purpose

You will partner with our organization to improve efficiency & effectiveness. Managing the PEx Portfolio for site location, effectively using improvement methodologies (DMAIC, Lean, DESGN, etc.) towards the achievement of plant/site strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops plans and recommendations for leadership on the use of Quality to achieve objectives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develops and recommends recognition plan for PEx project results, training and other significant accomplishments.
  • Interacts with leaders (internal and external) on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Manages, crafts and facilitates trainings.
  • Supports and monitors belt development.
  • Facilitates portfolio development process and reports progress.
  • Assists sponsors and leaders initiating selected projects
  • Act as project lead on our larger projects to manage deliverables, timelines, resources (people and budgets) and change management.
  • Functions as a project belt on large projects ensuring the effective use of the methodology in partnership with the project lead.
  • Fosters effective communication (among management, teams and belts) by building adequate communication channels; ensuring that expectations, goals, needs, etc. are clearly understood by all parties.

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Do you have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years experience and a real passion for process improvement?

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors:

Are you organized and have ability to multi-task?

  • Dedicated and confident, with the ability to influence others.
  • Experience leading projects.
  • Collaborative.
  • Possesses strong presentation skills.
  • Experience with multiple PEx methodologies.
  • Trained Green Belt (minimum), Certified Green Belt (preferred).
  • Results oriented, analytical and able to solve problems.
  • Customer focused.
  • Skilled technically (preferred).
  • Possesses continuous improvement mindset.
