Role Purpose
This will support and help operationalize a refreshed IR/Financial Communications program; project manage key processes, including a targeted engagement roadmap; and contribute speechwriting, narrative development, and data visualization – focused on our investor, strategy, and business messaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and deliver communications that clearly articulate the company’s financial performance, strategic priorities, and value proposition—driving understanding and targeted outcomes across key stakeholder groups.
- Create compelling visual storytelling—including high‑impact PowerPoint presentations and data‑driven graphics—that translate complex information into clear, persuasive narratives.
- Work confidently with technical business and technology content, ensuring accurate representation of product value propositions, market strategies, financial metrics, and nuanced message objectives.
- Conduct thorough research; partner with subject‑matter experts; and leverage analytics, sensing tools, and external insights to build, refine, and extend narratives aligned with strategic goals.
- Assess external context, audience behaviors, and content best practices to generate audience insights and strategic recommendations that strengthen message resonance and effectiveness.
- Demonstrate creativity, precision, and narrative discipline in drafting keynote remarks, earnings‑related scripts, and press materials that reinforce Corning’s financial story.
- Maintain and evolve message houses and a core narrative library to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment across all financial and strategic communications.
- Develop thought‑leadership content and newsroom features that elevate the company’s perspective, expertise, and visibility.
- Provide meticulous copyediting, proofreading, and fact‑checking to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
Experiences/Education - Required
- We’re seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in business journalism, executive or financial communications, or relevant experience in a business or institutional investor environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Finance, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in financial communications, investor relations, corporate communications, or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and corporate performance metrics.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Demonstrated mastery of visual storytelling, including PowerPoint and data visualization
- Experience partnering with executives and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high‑visibility environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion with sensitive information.

The range for this position is $111,919.00 - $153,889.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
