The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success.  It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation.  GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements.

Scope of Position:

Provide support to business divisions within the Global Supply Management function as part of the Strategy Service with a focus on setting annual goals and objectives and tracking performance throughout the year.

Favorably influence financial outcomes of decisions, actions and strategies by providing operational analysis.

Oversee the policies and processes that enable the function’s goal setting process as well as the reporting of financial impact.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the establishment of GSM function financial targets (COM, Cash)
  • Report and analyze budget and forecast of GSM financial commitments
  • Improve effectiveness and efficiency of PCM process
  • Manage Business Performance Review reporting process
  • Facilitate the establishment of GSM Global Objectives
  • Facilitate the establishment, tracking and reporting of business shared objectives
  • Lead & develop new analytical capability and provide analytical support for decisions
  • Provide analytical support to business operations
  • Supervision of permanent and contingent resources

Performance Metrics:

  • Delivery of objectives
  • Degree of customer satisfaction (Cost / Quality / Service / Effectiveness / Efficiency / Value)
  • Project Team Feedback - documented positive project team feedback as a measure of meeting project team development requirements. Measures to include coaching and counseling, leadership, recognition, etc.

Travel Requirements:

  • <20%, Domestic and International

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • 40+ Hours per week

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Supply Chain, Business Admin)

Required Years and Area of Experience:

  • Experience managing & operationalizing business processes
  • Experience in design of system functionality and processes and integration into other business process
  • Advanced digitalization skills, including Excel, PowerBI, Sharepoint, BlueLine, etc. Able to apply new digitalization tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Previous financial management experience; understands and can calculate basic financial computations (Rate of Return, Payback, Return on Investment and Return on Asset to name a few) and financial statements
  • Capable of analyzing complex problems and identifying key actionable recommendations
  • Attention to detail
  • Effectively communicates to all levels of the organization
  • Gains buyoff from key stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Operations and GSM, SMSC, GSSM, BSMs, ) on project scope and deliverables
  • Able to lead and get results as a supervisor in a matrix environment, on a cross functional team and / or working with suppliers
  • Supply Management experience, and understanding of Procurement and Logistics processes
  • Demonstrated Project management experience and execution
