Role Purpose
Lead worldwide pricing for Gorilla Glass Mobile Consumer Electronics business‚ key member of commercial operations leadership team‚ reports to Gorilla Glass Manager, Pricing and Commercial Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Pricing:
- Develop pricing strategy to position each product line glass according to its value proposition and competition
- Lead and advance pricing tools within Gorilla Glass to ensure a design that is sustainable given Gorilla Glass inherent business model complexity and future growth expectations
- Manage centralized pricing team, with two direct reports; and build working relationships with account teams, legal, innovation, and Auto Interior to ensure Gorilla Glass pricing model is preserved and effective
Strategy and Forecasting:
- Define budget and 5-year plan price targets to achieve stable average selling price and maintain market share within consumer electronics industry
- Drive long-term strategy, such as what is the right launch price of new products (valued-based pricing) or when to use price as a tool to penetrate different market segments to gain device adoption and market share
Pricing Execution and Contract Negotiation:
- Lead weekly meeting to seek leadership and account team alignment on specific program pricing opportunities and contract negotiations actions.
- Evaluate Gorilla Glass portfolio pricing strategy to determine how to negotiate and implement contracts with value chain customers.
- Perform financial modeling and scenario/sensitivity analysis to help frame contract negotiations with value chain customers

Requirements
- Bachelors degree and 3+ years of progressive commercial or business experience
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Leadership presence and credibility with organization
- Demonstrates self-confidence, ability to effectively communicate and influence senior management
- Ability to dig into detail, manage complexity and drive decision making
- Process oriented, ability to lead reengineering of processes
- Well organized, systemic approach to problem solving
- Ability to reinforce contracts and defend tough decisions
- Prior supervisory or cross-functional project leadership experience/ lead by influence
Desired Skills/ Experience
- MBA or other Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Technical undergrad
- Pricing experience
- Potential to grow into commercial leadership roles
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a team

The range for this position is $148,181.00 - $203,749.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
