Global Mobility Specialist Role Purpose:

The Global Mobility Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Corning’s mobility programs. Serving as a subject matter expert on relocation, this position will provide direct support to Corning’s Global Mobility leadership in the delivery of Corning’s complex mobility needs.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day administration of the US domestic relocation policies by delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring compliance to policy.
  • Act as the first line of contact for both internal and external customers and redirect/escalate matters as appropriate
  • Enter formal relocation authorization in vendor system as required
  • Manage domestic relocation reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely reports are delivered to BUHR and finance contacts throughout the year and at year end
  • Responsible for the US Domestic Temporary Assignment program to include MOU authorization, document delivery, and renewals
  • Responsible for US Domestic Commuter program to include lump sum calculations, drafting packages, document delivery and renewals
  • Support the relocation high-cost area program
  • Support implementation of newly identified relocation programs, processes, and policies
  • Assist in gathering and analysis of relocation data
  • Participate with relocation year-end processes to support both internal and external partners
  • Develop and maintain relocation related subject matter expertise through independent research and participation in professional groups
  • Develop and maintain documentation of relevant processes
  • Assist in the identification of relocation trends and enabling technologies
  • Provide overall Global Mobility support as required

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • 1+ years relevant experience; Previous corporate relocation experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a desire to improve customer experience

  • Superior communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Ability to exercise discretion
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Process oriented with a strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
