Scope of Position:

Pursue, Propose, Negotiate, Manage and Closeout Government Contracts. Cradle to grave management of contract lifecycle. This includes meeting all deliverables of the Prime (Recipient) and/or Subcontractor (Subrecipient) under associated Cost type contracts, CPFF, FFP, OT, contracts. Ensure compliance with associated FAR, DFAR, DEARs, Uniform Guidance and all associated agency supplements applicable. Ensure compliance with TINA and CAS and ITAR and CUI as applicable.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Engage in proposal activity, budget creation, coordinating completion of proposal packages, submission in government portal, etc.
  • Implement and manage multiple prime contracts, grants, cooperative agreements and subcontractor agreements and associated modifications.
  • Prepare and issue contract status reports and correspondence both internally and externally to the government.
  • Develop and distribute requests for documentation to internal contract teams and to subcontractors in conjunction with Government RFPs and as required throughout contract management.
  • Ensure compliance and timely submission of CGRD and subcontractor documents as part of the response to the RFP or under contract award management schedule.
  • Timely release of information (as prime contractor/subcontractor) in response to data calls from the Government or associated contract lead.
  • Makes presentations to management and to the program personnel regarding contractual issues and other related topics.
  • Serves as a mentor for other team members.
  • IP filing, tracking and reporting per contract requirements.
  • Participate in Government Compliance Audit.
  • Educate Award Teams in government tracking practices, systems requirements and government regulated practices under contract, document attendance.
  • Other duties as required in support of R&D government funding opportunities.

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, accounting, finance, legal or related field.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience.
  • Exposure/knowledge of government regulatory environment and ability to illicit compliance from R&D community through implementation and training to ensure government compliance. 
  • Excellent quantitative, writing and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Awareness/exposure to/or has worked in an environment regulated by the government, i.e., FAR, DFARS, DEARs and/or 2 CFR (OMB Uniform Guidance), CAS and TINA extremely helpful.
  • Knowledge of ITAR, CUI a plus.

Travel Requirements:

~10% for training and subcontractor site audits

The range for this position is  $75,534.00   -  $103,860.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
