Location: Corning, NY preferred or Charlotte, NC

 

Scope of the Position:

  • Manage employee relations at U.S. manufacturing locations (including unionized facilities)
  • Provide ER subject matter expertise to Operations and HR leadership at U.S. manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate representative for ER matters at assigned locations, to include negotiations responsibilities, grievance handling, policy implementation/interpretation, case investigation, advice and counsel to corporate, division and local management teams.
  • Responsible for design and implementation of ER strategies to support corporate, business and plant-level business and people objectives.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, focus on Human Resources Management or Industrial/Labor relations preferred.
    • Master’s degree and HR certification, a plus.
  • 10+ years’ experience in plant and corporate level labor relations roles (or other HR roles having a significant labor relations component) including union environments.
  • Subject matter expertise level in labor relations.

Travel Requirement:

  • Up to 25% domestic travel.

The range for this position is  $154,086.00 - $211,869.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
