Scope of Position:

The position will use end-to-end supply chain expertise & leadership to develop, deliver and support effective Operating Plans to achieve significant improvements across a balanced scorecard in Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety. This position will be responsible for defining and executing to plant supply chain strategy aligned with the business strategy (commercial, technology, manufacturing, quality, supply management).

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in S&OP process and develop/support short-term plans, long term capacity planning, and budget preparations for the facility. Deliver and track progress to the Operating Plan.
  • Develop and maintains inventory plan in order to meet customer requirements; develop strategies to increase inventory turns, reduce costs, and optimize customer service. Identify methods and processes to improve velocity of material moving through the plant.
  • Lead and direct the Master Production Schedulers and Material Planners to meet customer demand while managing operational and capacity constraints. Ensure order fulfillment metrics are met, and drive to lower lead times.
  • Improve automated processes and system reporting to maximize the flow of information and material in support of plant manufacturing goals. Analyze data, including enterprise requirements, planning information and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure execution to Operating Plans.
  • Manage the relationship with internal customers; collaborate with die managers for issue resolution, continuous improvement, or to improve supply chain effectiveness.

Travel Requirements: You can expect travel less than 10% of the time.

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: Your typical work schedule will be 8-5pm M-F although you should expect to have flexibility for off shift and weekend coverage is expected to support project assignments including overtime.

Required Education and Experience:

You should have a BS in Supply Chain, Technical or Business) with Minimum of 5 years of supply chain experience across multiple disciplines and increasing project responsibility as well as:

  • MRP/ERP system knowledge
  • Management of complex, cross-functional global teams
  • MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex problems
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic business and manufacturing environment

Desired Skills:

  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP)
  • Syteline, SAP knowledge and experience
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
  • Basic accounting principles
  • Six Sigma and Lean

Pay Grade: Grade D (D)
