The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
Scope of the Position
The Enterprise Platform Design and Standards team provides guidance to the ERP Transformation program related to business process design and data standards for the multi-year Global SAP implementation. As a part of this team, you will focus on one or more of the following areas: process design, data quality, reporting development/validation or operational enhancement execution. We are looking for a dynamic, well rounded, creative, and independent thinker to join the team.

Key Responsibilities
As a part of this team, you will focus on one or more of the following service areas: Process design: Global Template Enhancement risk assessments, creating process flow diagrams, and document standards. Data quality: operational data object cleansing, analysis, and documentation Reporting: report design and layout, validation between source and output, user training, and documentation Operational enhancement execution: project management for monthly or quarterly releases, dashboard development and communication
Education & Experience
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree that aligns with a service area e.g., data engineering, project management, business
Required Skills
- Comunicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with team members and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to learn new technology e.g., SAP S4, SAP MDG, SAP Analytics Cloud
- Work independently under the guidance of other team members.
- Manage time effectively, organizing work across multiple assignments.
- Apply critical thinking/problem solving skills and technical/functional expertise to work.
- Learn to prepare high quality deliverables according to program standards.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications and Adobe to complete work. Experience with Visio beneficial

The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly. Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
