IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
Purpose of The Position:
The Sr. Analyst, HRIS will support, maintain, and administer deployed solutions within Corning’s SuccessFactors Ecosystem and ancillary payroll interface systems.
This individual will need to be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central Module.
The Sr. Analyst, HRIS will directly support the HR function by handling escalations, resolving user issues, and monitoring the performance of business-critical systems.
The Sr. Analyst, HRIS will be responsible for improving the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of HR applications that will include payroll interfaces.
This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for Corning’s HR systems, respective interfaces and configurations.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the HR and Payroll teams to identify and fix technical problems that may include checking that software and applications are updated, supervising system modifications, conducting security audits to identify areas of improvement, and guiding their team through technical issues and challenges
- Provide production support, including researching and resolving HR system problems, or process issues; performing or assisting functional subject matter experts with scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
- Collaborate with and support the human resource leaders, service delivery application teams and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with HRIS team, functional and technical staff as needed
- Recommend process and service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy
- Perform first tier configuration and escalates to consulting and/or vendor services when applicable
- Assist in the review and testing of HR system upgrades or fixes, including bi-annual system releases for HR modules
- Adhere to existing change management processes.
- Perform appropriate tests and provide training to ensure quality
- Document process and results for review by HRIS leadership
- Manage vendor related tickets
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in HR, IT, or related field OR equivalent related experience
- Prior experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and HR Benefits
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with Payroll and interfaces
- Extensive experience with SAP/SuccessFactors, Employee Central and Benefits
- Deep understanding of SAP SuccessFactors Data Model and API’s
- Experience with SuccessFactors data migrations
- Familiar with SAP integration tools
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Dell Boomi
- MuleSoft
- Informatica
- Control M and/or Biztalk
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite w/Advanced EXCEL
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize workload (self-motivated) and provide timely follow-up and resolution
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables in parallel
- Operational execution excellence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team and collaboration orientation
- Demonstrate passion for success to complete required tasks while maintaining a positive attitude
Desired Skills:
- Certification in one of the SuccessFactors modules
- Working knowledge of ADP Payroll applications
- Working knowledge of UKG applications (Kronos, Dimensions)
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow
- Demonstrated project and change management skills
- Experience working with Global Teams

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $85,824.00 - $118,008.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
