Role Purpose

The Investor Relations Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of the investor relations (IR) program in close partnership with the Vice President, Investor Relations. This role focuses on managing effective communication channels with equity research analysts and investors, ensuring that all investor communications accurately reflect the company’s strategy, performance, and initiatives. The Manager will work collaboratively across corporate and business functions to develop messaging and materials, deepen relationships with key current and prospective investors and analysts, and ensure that the shareholder base aligns with Corning’s long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prioritize a list of current and potential investors for proactive outreach.
  • Create strategies and customized communications for key investors to build long-term relationships.
  • Recommend approaches to optimize the shareholder base in alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee creation of high-quality investor materials, including earnings releases, scripts, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop investment call materials and communications plans.
  • Maintain a repository of key messages for consistent communication.
  • Serve as the primary contact for analysts and investors, acting as a credible liaison.
  • Build relationships with analysts, investors, and internal experts to gather market intelligence.
  • Respond to inquiries on company performance, financials, and SEC filings with accuracy.
  • Manage CRM systems to ensure data integrity and generate reports.
  • Analyze investor sentiment, market trends, and company perception using data tools.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to interpret performance and inform IR strategy.
  • Plan and execute IR events, including earnings calls, Investor Days, and meetings.
  • Develop integrated communications plans for IR initiatives.
  • Prepare internal communications related to IR activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma.
  • Enhance business processes to drive organizational efficiency. 

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; CPA or proven knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
  • Financial background with experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in communications and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Previous experience in Investor Relations or Wall Street background is preferred.

The range for this position is $118,061.00 - $162,334.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
