• Support employee communications manager on various strategic projects and initiatives

• Focus on execution of strategic communications, plan development, videos, writing, visual presentation of information (graphics, promotional material, PowerPoints, infographics, etc.), and other deliverables

• Develop content for various communications tools, including Web, tradeshows, and Intranet

• Develop and implement clear, concise, consistent content to explain internal objectives and initiatives to global employees

• Drive creative storytelling methods to build awareness and excitement for employee engagement and employee communications

• Develop ideas, write and edit content for internal and external audiences and lead approvals processes

• Research, write, and edit content and video features for email, Corning World, the Blue Line, the intranet, and other internal platforms as needed

• Lead internal and external projects and document processes

• Ensure communications follow corporate brand guidelines, across all channels

• Outline and provide change management communications support, as needed

• Proactively coordinate with corporate communications and other Corning businesses, as appropriate

• Drive and monitor a data and analytics strategy for communications and build regular reports


Travel Less than 5% Education and Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or other related field required.


Minimum three-five years of communications experience, preferably in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications-related field.

• Ability to lead, organize, and prioritize

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Strong writing and editing abilities, including proficiency in Associated Press style

• Capacity to work well under pressure with ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines

• Ability to assess priorities and manage many projects simultaneously

• Excellent organizational skills, detailed-oriented
