The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace.

Scope of the Position
- The Leadership Design Consultant is an integral part of the Talent Development Center of Expertise (CoE) in Corning Human Resources. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated and cohesive team focused on reshaping global leadership development for the future. Armed with substantial expertise in leadership program design and experience in a global CoE, you are proficient in crafting impactful leadership programs that drive leader engagement, performance, and growth.
- You will devise and implement a leadership design approach that cultivates a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and leadership excellence. You will identify the most effective methodologies for delivering engaging and impactful leadership experiences, including feedback mechanisms, interactive simulations, microlearning modules, strategic decision-making exercises, and peer learning networks across the organization.
- You will engage with leaders, employees, and HR business partners at all levels of the global organization to align practices, create actionable insights, and foster a unified vision for leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate leadership requirements, integrate the latest industry trends and research, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop relevant and effective leadership programs.
- Design and develop high-quality leadership development resources, utilizing cutting-edge strategies and modern methodologies.
- Utilize best practices in adult learning theories to create impactful and engaging learning experiences and journeys.
- Manage the end-to-end design and development process of learning programs.
- Use data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of training programs and articulate opportunities for continuous improvement and higher levels of business impact.
- Travel up to 10%
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and program management.
- Passion for Leadership trends, a data-driven approach to development, and a proven track record of enabling leaders to effectively apply learning and achieve measurable business results.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with demonstrable ability to create buy-in and alignment across geographies and units.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and project management skills and resilience to meet multiple priorities and deadlines.

The range for this position is $78,731.00 - $108,256.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
