Position Purpose:

The Logistics and Procurement Analyst provides S&T with effective logistics management that enables innovation through a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring all trade compliance requirements are fulfilled and are aligned with Global Logistics Organization policies and procedures. This position supports logistics requirements of the S&T TC facilities in North America, MT&E and EIG initiatives. This position will also support Strategic Sourcing and procurement activities and analysis within S&T GSM. 

 

Requirements:

• BS degree in supply chain, business, or related fields

• 2+ years relevant work experience in supply chain management field

• Exeprience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Self-Starter and independent/ capable of accomplishing goals without direct supervision

• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

 

Desired:

• Process improvement focused; embraces automation over manual processing

• Proficient in Peoplesoft to obtain data

• Knowledge of basic principles of logistics and/or trade compliance

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall process and maintenance of the S&T Shipping request system. Review submission for content and accuracy.  Maintain systems in conjunction with IT and Key Stakeholders
  • Serve as the Global Trade Compliance Liaison for S&T collaborating with corporate logistics regional trade compliance teams to ensure that shipments from/to the S&T division are fully compliant with all cross-border and lab-to-lab trade requirements
  • Drives process and systems improvement projects to improve efficiency in logistics and procurement
  • Support Strategic Sourcing activities as needed including supplier searches, preparation, placement and tracking of RFQs/RFIs/POs
  • Responsible for the analysis and maintenance of procurement and logistics data, including quotations, supplier and logistics spend and reporting; Works with GSM Business and Corporate teams to identify saving opportunities

The range for this position is   $46,930.00   -  $64,530.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
