How the program works:

It is a 10-week paid summer internship position, based in one of the following locations - our Global Headquarters located in Corning, NY, our Optical Communications division located in Charlotte, NC, or our Life Sciences division located in Tewksbury, MA.

Based on your interests and background, you would have the opportunity to join one of the following areas:

1. Display
2. Mobile Consumer Electronics
3. Automotive
4. Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical Technologies
5. Optical Communications
6. Emerging Innovations

During the summer, you will be exposed to our multiple businesses as you utilize your strategy, marketing, and business analytics capabilities. You will work cross-functionally alongside scientists, engineers, and commercial leaders on a significant project that is highly aligned to the strategic direction of Corning’s business. More than anything else, we’re looking for capable people with a passion for technology, strong values, and the desire to direct in a fast-growing Fortune 500 Company.

Desired:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, technology, engineering or related field with a technical curiosity

• Solid logical skill; able to distill data to key insights

• A real passion for technology

• Strong presentation skills

• Demonstrated management ability with the desire to engage across global teams

Required:

• MBA degree in progress

• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions

​The range for this position is $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly.  Starting pay for the successful applicant is prescribed based on geographic location, nature of position, and year in school.
