The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success. It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements.
Role Purpose:
Leads the development and execution of Global Supply Management (GSM) Strategic Sourcing strategies, policies, tactics and objectives for assigned complex global commodities that align and are linked with the business units, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic sourcing plans considering future demand, economic trends, and global conditions.
- Prepare and manage competitive bids, proposals, and supplier negotiations.
- Own supplier relationship management, including performance metrics and contractual compliance.
- Advocate for the Global Buying Policy and ensure adherence.
- Drive supply intelligence, shared objectives, and service level agreements.
Performance Metrics:
- Supplier quality and performance metrics.
- Strategic supplier spend under contract/management.
- Contribution metrics and global objectives performance.
Key Competencies:
- People: Conflict management, influencing, and collaboration skills.
- Business: Strategic agility, business acumen, and adaptability to ambiguity.
- Technical: Contract management, negotiation, GSM strategy execution, supplier relationship management, and total cost of ownership analysis.
Experiences/Education-Required
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in manufacturing ‚operations, planning, engineering, supply management, or procurement.
• Experience as a Plant or Corporate Buyer.
Desired
• Experience across multiple businesses, divisions and/or technologies.
• Experience with global manufacturing and business through work or project experience.
• Experience working in a matrix environment or on a cross functional team.
• Previous experience with managing Contract Manufacturing suppliers.
• PEx Green Belt Certified.

The range for this position is $96,534.00 - $132,734.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
