The global Human Resource (HR) Function provides an integrated talent management system that delivers a workforce that is Corning's competitive differentiator in the global marketplace.
HR provides service offerings that align solutions to business challenges by ensuring the programs are Effective, Efficient, Global, Scaleable, and Repeatable. Role Purpose
Oversee the management of the Company’s U.S. qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory guidelines, plan design that effectively supports the attraction and retention of a high quality workforce, and effective engagement of plan participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure best in class service to participants through strong vendor management
- Lead strategic review of retirement programs
- Interpret plan documents and provide support to legal in developing plan language
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements (IRS, PBGC, DOL, ERISA, etc) and monitor changes in the oversight environment
- Drive participant engagement through effective communications
- Collaborate with Finance Department on financial management of programs
- Standardize COE programs/processes/policies, as appropriate, to reduce complexity of administration, minimize risk and cost
- Identify trends and enabling technology that will improve ability to meet strategic objectives
- Participate in developing a strategy for and execution of collective bargaining negotiations
- Participate in Merger and Acquisition activity as it relates to the retirement programs
- Work directly with executives on their participation in nonqualified programs
- Lead change management efforts to implement new or changing programs
- Provide participant and plan issue resolution
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent
- Successful track record of performance in a COE role
- Work experience supporting multiple client groups
- Successful track record in the development & deployment of HR processes or programs
- Successful track record in partnering with external providers / vendor management
- Successful track record of continuous process/product improvement using defined methodology
- Proven needs assessment and gap analysis skills

The range for this position is $124,078.00 - $170,608.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
