Role Purpose

  • Responsible for managing marketing relationships with customers, developing and executing partner marketing or co-promotion activities, developing consumer product messaging for customers and external marketing, and ensuring continuous compliance with core Gorilla Glass business and product messaging, brand, and trademark use.
  • This role would lead Gorilla Glass’ brand management and activities, including developing and executing brand strategy, establishing a brand playbook for use with commercial teams and customer interactions, and ensuring brand guidelines for all product offerings.
  • Additionally, this role would support global media relations activities through external key message / content development.  

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong marketing relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored marketing strategies.
  • Plan, develop, and execute partner marketing campaigns and co-promotion activities. Monitor and analyze the performance of partner marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop compelling consumer product messaging for customers and external marketing channels, ensuring that all messaging aligns with Gorilla Glass’ core business and product positioning.
  • Lead Gorilla Glass' brand management activities, including the development and execution of brand strategy and establishment and maintenance of a brand playbook for use with commercial teams and customer interactions.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all product offerings and marketing materials and continuous compliance with Gorilla Glass’ brand and trademark use policies.
  • Monitor and enforce brand guidelines to maintain brand integrity and consistency; collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any trademark or branding issues.
  • Support media relations activities through external key message / content development 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field  
  • A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience with proven success
  • Work experience in Corporate and/or business/marketing communications
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop marketing communication plans that align with organizational and customer goals and anticipate future challenges or opportunities.
  • Media Relations Expertise: Strong understanding of the media landscape; ability to build relationships with journalists and secure positive coverage for the organization.
  • Strategic Project Coordination and Execution: The ability to plan, organize, and oversee marketing communications projects from inception to completion. This involves setting clear objectives, managing timelines and budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and delivering high-quality outcomes on schedule. Effective project management also includes risk assessment and mitigation strategies to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining focus on the overall strategic vision.
  • Leadership: Effective leadership, organization, and planning skills, with ability to handle changing priorities. Ability to lead international teams across multiple initiatives that span various lines of business, geographic borders, time zones, and cultures
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal and influencing skills

Desired Education and Experience

  • Graduate-level education in related field
  • Work experience in Product Marketing or Product Line Management  
  • Experience with mobile consumer electronics or similar products or technology

The range for this position is $121,344.00 - $166,848.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
