In this role, you will be responsible for the overall development and execution of our digital strategy and for expanding and extending our digital platform capabilities working closely with our Digital Solutions as a Service (DSaaS) and Data, Analytics & Reporting (DAaR) organizations to bring value add solutions to Corning businesses and functions.  We look for you to work closely with the CSS leadership, our Corporate, Business & Function leaders and our external partners to enable digital solutions significantly improving the effectiveness and efficiencies of our business processes and enhance our analytics capabilities.

 

The ideal candidate will have practical experiences in managing global automation, prescriptive and predictive analytics & AI priorities across the enterprise.  You should have extensive knowledge of current and emerging digital capabilities and trends, industry best practices and a solid understanding of Finance processes.

 

  • Required Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related discipline.
    • Experience leading global teams and collaborating cross functionally to deliver solutions.
    • Minimum of 8+ years of program management, process engineering and/or delivering digital experience solutions with 3+ years of practical experience driving automation, analytics & AI
    • Experience leading digital transformation from strategy development thru execution and value realization.

 

  • On the Job Expectations:
    • Research – Staying abreast of everything digital.  Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends, new technologies and tools that could add significant value to Corning’s digital transformation.
    • Strategic – Develop, maintain and execute our digital transformation roadmap.
    • Leadership – Management responsibility for our Digital Solutions as a Service (DSaaS) and Data, Analytics and Reporting organizations.  Working closely with these teams to optimize the management of our digital platform and effectively bring digital solutions to Corning businesses and functions.
    • Significant collaboration across CSS and our business partners bringing digital solutions to solve problems, automate processes and significantly advance our analytics and insights.
    • Drive the adoption of CSS’s digital platform enabling solutions that deliver tangible business value.  Be a change agent for digital adoption.
    • Embed digital across Corning, developing a digital specialist network across our functions and businesses; making digital part of our natural operating model.
    • Overall management our digital portfolio, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with our commitments.
    • Partner with Corning’s Emerging Technologies group to identify synergies across the portfolios.
    • Rethink, reimagine, experiment with new ideas and thoughtfully questions status quo.
    • Leverage a combination of data and judgment to guide decision making
