Corning’s Brand & Experience team is looking for a Supervisor, Content and Editorial to help lead its team of content creators, shape and implement Corning’s content strategy, and guide writers in the evolution of content at Corning.


The work you'll do:


• Guide and inspire our team of content creators in the development and production of insightful, innovative, award-winning content for Corning

• Partner with the Senior Manager, Content & Editorial in the evolution of Corning’s content strategy and brand voice

• Provide editorial oversight, including structural and line-by-line editing, for a variety of content, ensuring that content is on-brand

• Engage with colleagues across Strategy, Design, Analytics & Measurement, and Internal and External Communications to create content that resonates with audiences and fits our technical platforms

• Be an ambassador for – and leader of – of Corning’s internal content-creation and publishing process

• Manage our content calendar to keep content flowing smoothly

• Pitch creative work to stakeholders of all kinds, gather their feedback, and deliver work that exceeds expectations

• Continually research marketing trends, strategies, and new technologies to find best-fit approaches and tools across all media


What you should bring to the table


• 4-6 years of external or in-house agency, communications and/or marketing experience, ideally in the writing, content-creation and content-strategy realm

• A love of writing and a passion for conveying new ideas to readers

• Breadth and flexibility of voice: humanizing complicated and technical content, and communicating details in clear, consistent and compelling ways

• A solid understanding of digital channels and an ability to work with emerging platforms – and within an evolving technical landscape

• Deep experience with integrated, cross-channel messaging and campaigns

• A desire to roll up your sleeves and “lead from the center” – doing work while also guiding and leading others

• Excellent client-relationship-building skills

• Familiarity with Mircosoft365, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Experience Manager, and other relevant tools (e.g., Figma, Airtable)


Travel requirements:

• Up to 25% travel
