Role Purpose

This role is responsible for managing occupancy data, coordinating personnel moves, handling furniture and service requests, and supporting strategic space planning initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. While this position supports space planning, it emphasizes operational execution and cross-functional collaboration. The primary focus is on implementing existing designs and managing the logistics of moves and space utilization, rather than creating or developing new space designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate moves across Corning Valley to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Utilize IWMS and ServiceNow to manage move requests, occupancy data, and space utilization.
  • Analyze occupancy metrics to support space optimization strategies.
  • Partner with Corporate IT, Workplace Services (Facilities, Corporate Services, Capital Construction), and Corporate Security to address technical, infrastructure, and safety requirements.
  • Ensure alignment on timelines, equipment needs, and security protocols during move planning and execution.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, customers, and service providers for seamless execution.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal clients, vendors, and service providers.
  • Provide updates, resolve service issues, and ensure a positive experience for stakeholders.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and customer-first responsiveness in all interactions.
  • Ensure accurate occupancy and move data to support billing, reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Track and document move activity to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvements.
  • Support project planning, execution, and post-move evaluations.
  • Manage punch lists and ensure move-related tasks are completed to satisfaction.
  • Maintain documentation for benchmarking and process enhancements.
  • Coordinate with furniture vendors and installers for layouts, deliveries, and installations.
  • Work with moving companies to support reconfigurations, renovations, and relocations.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Degree in Interior Design, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in occupancy planning, facilities coordination, or workplace strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with IWMS (IBM TRIRIGA), AutoCAD, and ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities; able to work under time deadlines

 

 

This position does not support immigration sponsorship.

The range for this position is $60,410.00 - $68,658.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
