Scope of Position:

Perform daily analytical and long-term strategic tasks for Gorilla Glass pricing – reports to Gorilla Glass Pricing and Commercial Manager

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Pricing:
    •  Lead and advance pricing tools within Gorilla Glass to ensure a design that is sustainable given Gorilla Glass’ inherent business model complexity and future growth expectations
    • Perform scenario analyses to understand the financial and commercial impact of potential changes
    • Analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to adjust pricing strategies effectively.
    • Build set of recommendations through strong analytical work in order to improve Gorilla Glass price and market position Strategy and Forecasting:
    • Lead long-term strategic projects related to the improvement of our global pricing
    • Work closely with forecasting team to define budget and 5-year plan, identify key market drivers and suggest strategy to maximize our share, revenue and margin
    • Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular reviews to assess the impact of pricing strategies on revenue and profitability.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining pricing performance and recommendations for improvement. Commercial Proposal negotiations:
    • Lead alignment with account teams on pricing execution and contract negotiation strategy, based on portfolio pricing analysis
    • Present the key findings to the business leadership and drive the approval process on specific negotiation actions
    • Work with pricing/commercial leadership and HR to inspire and develop a high-performing pricing work-team and contribute to positive culture
    • Ensure pricing strategies comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
    • Implement and maintain pricing governance frameworks to manage pricing approvals and escalations. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales, product line management, forecasting, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with business goals
    • Provide pricing guidance and support to regional sales and product management teams during contract negotiations and customer engagements

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • BS degree and 3+ years experience
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, ability to dig into detail, manage complexity and drive decision making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to reinforce contracts and defend tough decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey pricing strategies and recommendations
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders to achieve common goals
  • Ability and willingness to work in the evenings to engage with international colleagues (multiple nights per week; weekdays only)

 

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • MBA or other Master degree equivalent experience
  • Technical undergrad
  • Strategy project experience
  • Pricing and/or commercial experience
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

The range for this position is  $97,472.00   -  $134,024.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
