Role Purpose
Lead and manage product line strategy for Corning’s fast-growing Solar business in the US. Drive deep market understanding to shape compelling product value propositions and support revenue, share, and profitability goals. Collaborate across product, sales, and business teams to deliver insights and strengthen Corning’s position in the solar value chain.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy Support
- Understand solar product attributes, value propositions, and competitive dynamics
- Build tools to monitor market changes and inform product strategy
Customer & Market Segmentation
- Analyze customer products and their impact on our value proposition
- Segment customer base and market verticals with sales
- Track value chain activity (imports, trade, policy)
- Use tools like Power BI, AI, and Tableau to present insights
- Develop financial models, including LCOE by tech and region
Competitive Intelligence & Analysis
- Monitor competitor products, capacity, costs, and investments
- Track market dynamics and adapt strategy accordingly
- Deliver quarterly competitive assessments and response plans
- Calculate market share and end-market dynamics
- Summarize customer and competitive data to inform product and pricing strategies

Qualifications
- MBA or Bachelors (BS) Degree with equivalent experience in business operations/leadership
- 2+ years in business or financial analysis
- Experience in multicultural or multi-geographic projects

The range for this position is $99,433.00 - $136,721.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
