Role Purpose

Proactive business partner who will provide insightful financial analysis to support the growth of the Solar MAP and enable the business to make informed decisions to deliver our financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tools and reports to Solar’s key stakeholders including business and corporate partners.
  • Streamline financial analysis tools and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support understanding financial results, such as drivers of revenue, margin, manufacturing costs, OpEx, and cash flow.
  • Help analyze P&L and Cash Flow performance, trends, and impacts of mix, price, volume, and manufacturing variances.
  • Support the monthly forecast process including consolidation of the total Solar forecast and fulfilling corporate requirements.
  • Manage division OpEx including reviewing and verifying the correctness of actual results, forecasting future spending, and meeting with business partners.
  • Assist with annual budgets and long-term strategic plans including consolidation of the total Solar view and fulfilling corporate requirements.
  • Support financial analysis for investment proposals, cost reduction initiatives, and various P&L and cash flow scenarios.
  • Liaise between plant controllers, entity controllers, and corporate finance to ensure accurate reporting and understanding.
  • Responsible for preparation of the presentations and analysis for senior management meetings including business leaders, GM, and Corporate FP&A.
  • Support Solar’s implementation of internal controls including DLMC’s and coordination with ACR and Internal Audit.
  • Fully engage in all aspects of and execute on all FP&A deliverables including new system implementations. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for corporate FP&A processes and support business/plant colleagues.
  • Provides ad hoc financial analysis.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Finance or Accounting major preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years experience working on cross functional teams to solve complex business problems.
  • Ability to work in a “Fast Paced” environment with a strong commitment to meet objectives and deadlines.

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Has working knowledge of financial systems used (i.e., PS, Longview, SAP).
  • Has necessary level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Uses these tools to work more efficiently and reduce time.
  • Has a working knowledge of general accounting including business financial statements.
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams and work with all levels of organization.
  • Prior manufacturing experience.

The range for this position is $78,039.00 - $107,304.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
