Role Purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst, Next Gen FP&A will assist with implementing and supporting new financial systems, develop new analytical tools, improve current FP&A processes, and provide ad-hoc support as requested.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fully engage in all aspects of and execute on all FP&A deliverables for the new system implementations and data analytics. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in OneStream Corporate FP&A processes
  • Provide support for other financial systems including Longview, SAP, and PeopleSoft
  • Evaluating and recommending improvements to current models, metrics, and analytic processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Responsible for supporting the reporting and analytical processes required to facilitate the clear financial articulation of business operational results and projections to both senior management and senior financial leadership.
  • Provide support and guidance to the business Finance teams in their preparation for and submission of the Black Book, Green Book, and unit forecasts to Corporate.
  • Compiling data and sharing relevant and recent developments with analytical tools and best practices
  • Maintenance of financial modeling for the corporation
  • Support monthly and quarterly Corp FP&A closing and consolidation activities
  • Participate on a team providing key finance analysis for Senior Management
  • Maintain databases and dashboards for Corp FP&A

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Firm understanding of US GAAP
  • Strong computer skills; expert-level proficiency in Excel, proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented, and organized
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to take ownership of new tasks/problems and solve them with precision and thoughtfulness
  • Must possess a quantitative approach to analyzing data and solving problems
  • Strong ability to develop rapport and trust and to maintain business relationships

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Understanding of P&L, cash flows, and balance sheet and related drivers
  • Understanding of corporate systems – OneStream, Longview, PeopleSoft, and/or SAP
  • PowerBI, Databricks, Python, and Alteryx experience will be a plus
  • Strong sense of integrity
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment as well as independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with global Finance team, corporate counterparts, and business customers/suppliers at all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable challenging supplied inputs and questioning existing processes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, work proactively and independently in a fast-changing environment
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

The range for this position is $78,039.00 - $107,304.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
