Purpose of the Position:

  • Responsible for assisting in all aspects of the investor relations program
  • Understanding and analysis of key drivers of investor decisions and stock market dynamics
  • Manage shareholder activity reports, sellside modeling analysis, and targeting process
  • Conduct financial analysis and research to assist in responding to inquiries from the investment community as well as for other internal departments
  • Financial analysis includes analyzing historical performance of the Company and its peers, comparable company trading analysis and other ad hoc projects
  • Share responsibility as a company contact with security analysts

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Act as day-to-day liaison with analysts and investors to provide information and analysis on the company and market trends
  • Develop contacts within the company and investor community to maintain current information and credibility
  • Maintains CRM systems and responsible for ensuring accuracy of information and reports; extracting data from CRM and Bloomberg and performing analysis
  • Work closely with members of control, treasury, communications and strategy personnel
  • Assist in preparing presentations to investors, earnings releases and other investor relations materials.
    • Includes development of slide content and graphical representation of information, development of Q&A with finance and businesses, and other written materials
  • Monitor perceptions of the investment community on an ongoing basis and provide regular feedback
  • Review news releases and other public communication documents to ensure that investor communications of company performance and initiatives are in line with management’s view of the business and sufficiently communicate our strategy. Be the liaison with businesses to share investor perspectives.
  • Responsible for “modeling” financial performance of the company and interpreting company goals, strategies and financial and reporting performance for investors

Projects involved with:

  • Developing and overseeing investor targeting program
  • Quarterly earnings call preparations
  • Valuation analysis
  • Annual investor meeting
  • CRM system process and improvements

Travel Requirements:

  • 10-20% with potential for one international trip per year

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent technical degree
  • CPA or proven knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience writing and developing PowerPoint presentations and charts
  • Experience collaborating across functional areas

  • Person must have a financial background and possess outstanding interpersonal and communications (verbal and written) skills. Must be flexible and adapt to change quickly. Must be able to relate well to senior management. Must be assertive and able to work with minimal supervision. Person must possess maturity, integrity, poise and confidence.
  • Interest in trading, investment methodologies
  • Statistical and analytical, including financial analysis and strong excel/database extraction skills
  • Strong communication skills, enjoys developing relationships
  • Can analyze and respond to inquiries regarding unexpected changes in financial results
  • Presents information/analysis with a balanced point of view, carefully explaining critical assumptions
  • Interprets analyses by recognizing key trends across data sets and applies interpretations to develop insights into financial operations
  • Able to organize presentations in a way that ensures the audience understands financial terminology, concepts and the key message
  • Has necessary level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
