Role Purpose

We're seeking a Material Supply planning and Inventory Optimization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain and inventory, implementing standard methodologies, and executing key programs in Supply Planning, Operations Improvement, and Cost Reduction. 

Immediate Responsibilities Include

 

  • Material Planning and Inventory Management  
    • Ensure accurate forecasting of material needs, develop and maintain optimal inventory levels. 
    • Develop and maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure supply assurance. 
    • Implement standard inventory control methods and minimize obsolete inventories. 
  • Scope: 
    • Directly manage all strategic materials including Lithium 
    • Take the lead of non-strategic materials, accountable of supply assurance, planning is managed by the procurement teams on the site. 
  • Project Management: Lead special projects around planning efforts, including planning system enhancements, process optimization, etc.  

 

Experiences/Education - Required

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or a technical field is required. An MBA or supply chain certifications (i.e. CSCP) are preferred. 
  • 1+ years of progressive, multi-site supply management experience, 5+ years is preferred. 
  • 1+ years of raw material Planning experience, 5+ years is preferred. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with SAP is a plus. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a systematic and logical approach. 
  • Ability to lead business relationships using data-driven analysis, critical thinking, networking, and strong presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a dynamic working environment. 
  • Strong analytical/digital literacy with the ability to turn quantitative analysis into significant business insights. 

 

Travel Requirements

  • We anticipate up to 25% of time both within US and internationally.

The range for this position is $71,930.00 - $98,904.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
