Scope of Position
Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Formulation Chemist to join our innovative team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a solid foundation in Formulation Science to contribute to the development of advanced materials and processes in inks, adhesives, and coatings.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, synthesize, and characterize of organic formulations in the area of inks, adhesives and/or coatings
- Perform material and process optimizations to achieve desired properties
- Develop new routes for the preparation of advanced functional materials
- Conduct in-depth analysis of results and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all experiments and findings
- Collaborate with other scientific and engineering teams to integrate formulations into innovative products
Required Education and Experience
- PhD with 3+ years' experience or Master's with 8+ years’ experience
- Background in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field, with a focus on Formulation Chemistry for inks, adhesives and/or coatings
- Demonstrated experience with formulation science and materials characterization techniques such as FTIR, XRD, SEM, TEM, etc.
- Experience and interest to design and carry out hands on experimentation
- Experience in initiating research activities
- Innovative thinking and creative
Desired Experience
- Experience with polymer formulations
- Experience with Sol-Gel Chemistry or particle dispersions
- Strong organization skills, ability to manage multiple tasks
This position supports immigration sponsorship.
The range for this position is $101,586.00 - $139,681.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
