Scope of Position:

  • Collaborate with senior Supply Chain staff to understand project requirements.
  • Inventory Management and Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting audits, and implementing strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing costs and waste.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement; prepare detailed reports to communicate findings and support decision-making.
  • Logistics and Transportation Support: Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate the movement of goods, optimize transportation routes, and ensure timely deliveries while reducing expenses.
  • Process Improvement: Review and recommend improvements to supply chain processes, including workflow optimization, cost-saving initiatives, and implementing lean management practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams such as operations, production, and customer service to ensure seamless supply chain operations and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist with other supply chain tasks as needed.

Required Education & Skills:

  • Eligible military service member to participate in a Skillbridge program
  • Currently pursuing or completed degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve supply chain.
  • Willingness to learn new systems to support the supply chain enterprise.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex problems
  • Experience with Six Sigma DMAIC or similar principles
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or PowerBI for data analysis
  • Time management and ability to prioritize work
  • Excellent critical analysis, problem solving, communication, and logic/reasoning skills.
  • Ability to interact with management and team members.
