Responsibilities:

  • Combines oversight for Talent Acquisition in the US, Latin America and EMEA to create alignment and synergies for gaining global consistency in recruiting
  • Provides strong alignment between HR Leads and the recruiting partners supporting them
  • Responsible for all Contingent Labor programs and the aligned suppliers also now includes oversight of Fieldglass. Frequently consulted for advice on CWR programs outside the US.
  • Recruiting model analysis and design (identifies what type of recruiting labor/model is necessary based on the need to include building and managing a new recruiting model in EMEA (very complex recruitment market) and Mexico
  • Integrates employer branding strategies for the organization.
  • Leads recruitment attraction strategies for respective regions
  • Manages and supports staffing integration activities for assigned regions and support the day-to-day hiring needs.
  • Executes, manages and implements TA strategies specific to respective functions. Ensures consistency of all policies and procedures for Talent Acquisition team are consistent with the business needs.
  • Manages recruiting metrics in order to accurately assess the effectiveness of suppliers; current and previous recruitment strategies; and is able to create and implement solutions for challenges.
  • Manages and delivers training programs and workshops for Corning employees/managers to ensure effective recruiting techniques are used.
  • Ensures regions are utilizing True Blue efficiently while driving and maintaining guidelines.
  • Ensures that all tools of Talent Acquisition are clearly understood and utilized by the team including vendor and search company managements.
  • Creates an atmosphere of HR teamwork, which incorporates all applicable HR departments into the staffing process to improve responsiveness and present a consistent message from HR.

Required Education:

  • Bachelors Degree (required)
  • Graduate Degree (preferred)

Required Years and Areas of Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR
  • 7+ years of experience in recruiting, including experience in Talent Acquisition management roles.
