The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Role Purpose

This is a Technical leader role for Integration. The role requires technical leadership skills, some project management skills, solutions architecture skills and deep knowledge of iPaas, ETL Integration technologies, job automation, and the Industry. The role will be specifically helping with the projects involving implementation of Integration between various SaaS and Enterprise ERP systems using Informatica ETLs and job scheduling, automation and file transfers using BMC Control M.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal customers to understand and document current business processes and identify candidates for automation
  • Control M lead with implementation, deployment, and migration expertise
  • Responsible for leading end to end coordination between the source and target systems for requirements, design, build, test and deployment of Integrations and APIs.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of enterprise integration solution design architecture artifacts 
  • Responsible to deliver enhancements to Informatica Interfaces and overseeing work activities of the Managed Service Provider
  • First responder for all integration related in North America time zone and either resolve the issues or escalate to global support team.
  • Understand Corning standards and industry-standard interfaces and design solutions with third party software components.
  • Work with the overall Project manager, cross team members from various IT teams like ERP and SaaS systems and various functional users.
  • Plan, lead, and perform system installs and upgrades for various clients
  • Identify technology risks and innovation opportunities when designing practical solutions.

Experiences/Education - Required

  • BS degree or equivalent
  • Certifications in SOA or API technologies preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Integrating business systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in integrating multiple infrastructures and systems for production batch scheduling using BMC Control M
  • Prior experience with Corning Integration is a plus.
  • Must have previous experience architecting the Integration solutions, doing High level and Low level design of ETLs preferably with Informatica
  • Expert level File transfer knowledge using Control M
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and Code Repository tools
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated track record of on time delivery within budget; ability to drive projects to successful conclusion using influencing tools
  • Ability to lead international teams across multiple initiatives that span various lines of business, geographic borders, time zones, and cultures
  •  Must be a self-starter, able to work in team environment and motivate others 

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Experience in connecting to SAP, Peoplesoft ERP systems using Informatica
  • Experience with BizTalk, WSO2, EDI, Mulesoft is a Plus

 

Travel

·        5% travel required, international and domestic

The range for this position is $89,748.00 - $123,404.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
