Role Purpose
Direct team operations group to achieve Cost, Quality, Health and Safety objectives. Execute the plant plan objectives at the tactical level focused on continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
• Develop PQA on the production line and maintain process PQA sustainability on a monthly basis.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives to achieve the zero-defect target.
• Work with R&D to control new product quality.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints.
• Develop effective inspection plans for raw materials, process control, and final inspection.
• Update and improve quality process control plans and effectively resolve process quality issues.
• Maintain and improve the quality management system; identify opportunities for in-house quality control improvement through weekly internal production audits.
• Lead hazardous material safety management for new products.
• Support engineers in conducting process safety analyses.
• Manage RoHS and REACH materials and certifications.
• Work in compliance with company objectives and goals related to Safety and EHS requirements.
• Comply with all company EHS rules, including policies, procedures, SOPs, and other requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, EHSS, and applicable government policies and regulations.
• Support the plant’s ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.
• Be responsible for DCC management.
• Ensure the plant meets DARM requirements.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Experiences & Education
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Major in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering is preferred.
Required Skills
• At least 5–7 years of experience in quality control and improvement within a manufacturing environment.
• Corning Green Belt certification.
• Certification as an auditor for QEH&S management systems is preferred.
• Experience in the manufacturing of fiber-optic communication components is an advantage.
