JOB SUMMARY & FUNCTIONS: The purpose of this position is: Responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture of Hyperstacks and other products produced in the cleanroom. Successfully achieve plant standards for safety, quality, production and continuous improvement.
This position includes significant duties such as:
• Performs detailed assembly using numerous documented processes involving the use of chemicals, intricate parts, and application of surface treatment. Tasks include: monitoring output quality and quantity; troubleshooting; making necessary (basic) machine / parameter adjustments where applicable; alleviating minor jams on production line and auxiliary equipment, and staging raw materials, in-process product, and finished product per current procedure.
• Reads and interprets basic product drawings for the assembly of product and kits.
• Performs routine monitoring and inspection activities per product specifications on products and finished lots with calibrated measuring and data acquisition equipment (light box and guage testing).
• Completes production records, recording relevant data onto forms or via electronic data entry. Ensure accuracy and good documentation practices per company and cGMP standards.
• Packs product and performs final QA check to inspect final packout.
• Tracks packed volumes and provide data to shift report as required.
• Detects and reports improper operation, faulty equipment, defective material, and unusual conditions to supervisor or team leader.
• Maintains training in all department tasks to relieve other associates for absences or break periods and rotate duties as required.
• Performs training of new employees in the area of responsibility.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain gowning requirements to the facility standard
• Performs daily housekeeping, waste removal, and end-of-lot line clearance duties.
• Follows established company rules, regulations and maintains quality standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Work with tools, cleaning equipment, and chemicals demonstrating proper safety precautions. Wear appropriate PPE when required.
• Cross trains in other areas of the facility as needed.
• Uses software/databases (PeopleSoft, ETQ (Quality Systems),Apriso, etc.).
Working Conditions: Disagreeable working conditions. Work completed in certified clean room environment requiring full gowning (Gowning covers full body, except for eyes, safety glasses/goggles and hearing protection required). Long pants and shirts with sleeves required. Exposed to constant noise, Laser welders; heat, fumes; production environment with high speed, high volume equipment and/or molds, conveyors, etc.
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required. Aseptic operations and gowning certifications preferred
Experience: 1-3 years manufacturing experience in a GMP facility, preferably working in cleanroom environment
