The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success.  It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation.  GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements.

Role Purpose

Supporting the Life Sciences development sourcing initiatives, managing suppliers, conducting assessments and audits ensuring supply and delivering strategic value through negotiations and contract agreements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, report and analyze spend and saving opportunities
  • Contracts and negotiations with contract manufacturing suppliers
  • Sourcing alternative and new, competitive suppliers and lead new product implementations for CLS programs
  • Lead outsourcing projects in alignment with the business needs
  • Negotiate and manage contracts
  • Develop cost reduction opportunities and projects and assure business alignment
  • Supporting the development of category strategies by gathering and providing market insight, benchmark saving results across regions
  • Assure compliance to buying and payment policies
  • Organize assessments and audits to assure quality and processes compliance of suppliers
  • Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers, including performance results based on KPI's and internal feedback with a cross functional team
  • Own and manage supplier relationship

 Travel: 

  • Up to 25% travel

 

Experience/Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Digital Athlete - experienced with data analytics
  • Experience in manufacturing – operations, planning, quality, engineering, supply chain.
  • Experience with GSM processes and systems.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment or on a cross-functional team.

The range for this position is $68,210.00 - $93,790.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
