- Perform and document routine site inspections, including annual inspections of ladders, fire extinguishers, cranes, hoists, and other designated equipment.
- Complete monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, GFCI outlets, and other safety-related systems.
- Coordinate monthly records management activities.
- Support waste and recycling programs to ensure proper handling, collection, and disposal of materials.
- Oversee daily compost management activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Assist with chemical disposal activities and maintain organization and compliance within the chemical storage building.
- Manage monthly slurry jar collection, tracking, and processing activities.
- Support the evaporation and handling of process slurries following established environmental and safety procedures.
- Perform general light building maintenance and assist with facility upkeep as needed.
- Support seasonal and outdoor site maintenance activities, including salting and shoveling, as required.
- Maintain schedules, inspection logs, and related records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support site operations and compliance needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to manage routine responsibilities on a daily, monthly, and annual schedule.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Basic problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Ability to perform hands-on work in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills for tracking inspections, records, and schedules.
- Ability to perform physically active work, including frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform ladder work safely.
- Ability to work outdoors as needed in varied weather conditions.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required while on the manufacturing floor and while performing tasks involving potentially hazardous materials.

The range for this position is $26.75 hourly rate - $29.63 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
